Job??
Any horsey yard wanna offer me a job for the summer? My last summer before I’m qualified, really dont wanna spend it working in a nursing home!!
Ah!! So little time!!
On placement at the moment, so time on this is fairly limited….
Totos fit to burst, she was due 3rd March and has no intention of foaling. Lizzies nearly bigger than her as it is.
Sherm, Shadow, Mare, Foal and Liz are all free in an 8 acre field, and ALL have lost headcollars. (Well, Dad thought it would be a great idea to leave Sherm and Shadow out WITHOUT them, and then gives out that he cant catch them….)
So, babies are due, 3 in total. (Number 3 is my neighbours mare, a 17.2hh teddy bear of a mare named Tilly. Shes due in 2 weeks and she’ll probably foal before Toto. Although I’m off now for two weeks so I should defo be around for the foaly !)
So, in a nutshell, all are well, and its too sunny to be inside on a machine, so toodles!

Updatio:
-Lizzie very much in foal. Fit to explode even though she has 5 months left to go, what the hell Liz?! Brought her in for the first time since at least, am…. October. Went about handling her feet- and ended up with a hind foot in my face. Ouch. Next time- wear hat. Didnt have a girth so worked with a bungee and numnah. (I use way too many man-made shitty contrations. Worked though). All well on that front. Needless to say, didnt get my quality time with her over Xmas even though I had 6 weeks off, as my broke state made work a priority. *le sigh*.
- Sherms all good. Happy out chilling with the extra pony of late, who is a bit of a bossy bitch so Sherms had a bit of a confidence drop, but hes a quirky fella and we’ll get it back. Extra pony (Shadowfax….yes, THAT Shadowfax) got a nice walloper into the chest from Liz though, which brought her down a peg or two….
- Starting hunting as much as possible since December 26th. Had a notion to go so acted on it. What with college and breaking Liz and Toto being in foal, I had forgotten what galloping over jumps felt like. Riding horses for a couisin-ish of mine, so on a different one a lot, which can only be good. Got a lovely fall off a TB which sprained my ankle again (slightly), but its all good, bandaged and walking again and all.
- Passed all exams, and no more til December 2012. Yay!! Placement placement placement, eep!
